Janaki Women Awareness Society (JWAS) successfully convened its 32n Annual General Assembly on 3 November 2025 at Masala Cottage, Janakpurdham. The event brought together 53 out of 70 general and lifetime members, marking a strong turnout and reaffirming the collective commitment to JWAS’s mission.
The Assembly featured the presentation of key institutional reports:
• Mr. Rajan Nepal, JWAS Secretary, shared the Annual Progress Report for FY 2081/082 and outlined the strategic plans and programs for FY 2082/083.
• Mr. Ramdat Thakur, Treasurer, presented the Financial Progress Report, highlighting expenditures totaling NPR 69,867,370.85 across 17 projects during the last fiscal year.
These reports were thoroughly reviewed and formally endorsed during the closed session of the Assembly. In addition, the Executive Committee tabled 14 proposals, which were discussed in detail and approved through consensus—demonstrating JWAS’s commitment to participatory governance and strategic advancement.
The Assembly was chaired by Ms. Manda Kumari Karna, President of JWAS, whose leadership continues to guide the organization with vision and integrity.
जानकी महिला जागरण समाजको ३२ औं साधारण सभा सम्पन्न
जानकी महिला जागरण समाजको ३२ औं साधारण सभा २०८२ कार्तिक १७ गते ३ नभेम्वर २०२५ मा सम्पन भएको छ । जनकपुरधामको मसाला कटेजमा सम्पन्न साधारण सभामा संस्थाको ७० जना सदस्य मध्ये ५३ जना सधारण तथा आजिवन सदस्यहरुको उपस्थितीमासाधारण सभा सम्पन्न भएको छ । साधारण सभामा संस्थाको सचिव राजन नेपालले आ.व.२०८१।०८२को वार्षिक प्रगती प्रतिवेदन तथा आ.व.२०८२।०८३ को निति तथा कार्यक्रम र कोषाध्यक्ष रामदत ठाकुरले आर्थिक प्रगती प्रतिवेदन पेश गरेका थिए । प्रस्तुत प्रतिवेदन अनुसार गत आ.व.मा संस्थाले १७ वटा परियोजनाहरुमा रु.६,९८,६७,३७०।८५ खर्च गरेको विवरण रहेको थियो ।
प्रस्तुत प्रतिवेदनहरु साधारण सभाको वन्द सत्रमा छलफल भई पारित गरिएको थियो । संस्थाको कार्यकारिणी समितिवाट प्रस्तुत १४ वटा प्रस्तावहरु उपर आवस्यक छलफल गरी निर्णय गरिएको थियो । साधारण सभाको अध्यक्षता संस्थाको अध्यक्ष मन्दा कुमारी कर्णले गर्नु भएको थियो ।
